Les 5 et 6 novembre 2015 se sont tenues à l’Inalco, dans le cadre de l’équipe d’accueil 4514, «Pluralité des langues et des identités: didactique, acquisition, médiations» (PLIDAM), des journées d’études autour du partage d’expériences et d’échanges entre enseignants de langues et didacticiens. Tous les sens de la perception, à commencer par l’ouïe et la vue, si importantes dans le processus de découverte et d’acquisition, ont été revisités. Qu’il s’agisse des outils traditionnels de mémorisation par la répétition (musicale ou rythmique), ou de perceptions moins fréquemment sollicitées dans l’enseignement, comme l’odorat ou le mouvement, tous ont également été envisagés, de même que les différentes stratégies employées par l’enseignant pour entretenir la curiosité, la confiance en soi et la motivation. La réflexion qui charpente cet ouvrage renvoie à une palette de stimuli auxquels s’ajoutent les TICE qui permettent une individualisation des moments d’apprentissage de type répétitif, les moments de travail collectif pouvant alors être consacrés à la création et à la recréation. Cet ouvrage regroupe les séquences les plus marquantes de ces journées d’études dont l’unité tournait autour de la place de l’émotion dans l’acquisition des langues.
